Active Oxygen Technology & Safety
EOG Odor Eliminator uses electrolysis to produce active oxygen water, then atomizes it to break down odors. Ozone generators release ozone gas directly. The two work differently; when using an ozone generator, ventilation and keeping people and pets away are generally necessary. You can also watch this video to learn more.
Usage & Effects
There may be a slight effect, but there is no need to worry. While EOG Odor Eliminator produces a fine mist during operation, our indoor testing found only a slight rise in humidity. Unlike a typical humidifier, it does not continuously add a large amount of moisture, so its effect on overall indoor humidity is relatively limited during normal use.
Water Quality & Use
Please use regular tap water or mineral water. RO water has no electrolytes and cannot react; do not add salt or essential oils, as they can affect electrolysis stability and product lifespan.
Hard water will not cause an immediate malfunction, but long-term use may increase the chance of scale buildup. Cleaning the module regularly is recommended.
When operating for extended periods while plugged in, check the water level and refill about every 4–5 hours. EOG Odor Eliminator has dry-run protection and stops automatically when it detects that there is no water.
A solid indicator means charging is complete; a flashing indicator means it is not fully charged or is charging.
Maintenance & After-sales Support
Remove the module and place it in a separate container. Add citric acid and water at a 1:5 ratio until the module is submerged, and soak for about 10 minutes. Rinse with clean water, make sure no citric acid remains on the surface, let it dry, then reinstall it according to the alignment marks.
Before first use, with the device powered off, charge it until the power indicator stays solid, then use it.
